Please save the date for the GRECC Connect Geriatric Case Conference Series scheduled on Wednesday, December 11th , from 3-4 PM EST. The session will focus on Prevalence and Risk Factors for Depression in Older Adults hosted by Dr. Shahla Baharlou and Dr. Gregory Hinrichsen.

Depression in Older Adults

Program Description: This presentation is an overview of the risk factors for, and prevalence, presentation, and treatment of depression in older adults. Learning objectives of this case conference include the following: Describe the prevalence and risk factors for depression in older adults; understand how the presentation of depression in older adults may look different than in younger adults; list evidence based treatments and programs for late life depression.
